{ Motherland }

Currently back in my motherland 🇮🇩. Doing some visiting + sightseeing, over at Central Java area + Yogyakarta.

Rmb dat little “cousin”  I was just talking about? There is now apparently a very strong possibility of me nvr seeing her again. As her parents had gotten divorced, wif the father (interestingly) getting custody of the children.

Dat side of their family is oso seemingly ummm… not very keen in letting them see our family (beyond their mother / my cousin… which even then, isn’t very often…). Which means the children wld probably not be appearing or following us anymore for family functions. Dat is high-key rlly sad 💔…

It is oso worrying as I heard the middle child (the “cousin’s” younger sister), seems to be quietly struggling. Her mother and some cousins, who managed to get the rare sights of her, stated dat she’s been very quiet… and skinny… and not having her periods quite right… which does not sound good at all for a teenage girl…

Actly, dat is one of several bombshells dat I heard upon arrival back here. Some other news have oso dropped within the family dat idk how to feel abt.

Without going into detail, it means certain places and experiences dat hold core memories, and used to be staples here, r now gone…. and r oso unlikely to ever be back…

well at least the older relatives seem to be doing well (though noticeably ageing…😣). And the country’s still pretty nice (where we went, at least… )
