{ Mustache Cash Stash + 11 qns }

As part of the generation who watched Regular Show growing up, it amuses me the kind of random references dat get brought up every once in a while by my friends, and in the reels they send me.

The beauty of dat show lies in it’s absurdity, and how it completely contrasts wif its deceiving title. Episodes can start off wif setting up the chairs, and end up wif having to defeat the brought-to-life video game villain, in order to save the world.

So there’s dis one episode where Mordecai and Rigby wanted to start a band. Mordecai suggested to name themselves “Mustache Cash Stash” . Rigby didn’t listen and they ended up going wif something lame instead. The rest of the episode is the usual bizarreness.

Somehow the term “Mustache Cash Stash” stuck wif me. I can’t help but giggle abit when I hear or say it. Think it’s becos of how silly, but fun to say it is.

I now use it to refer to dudes I see who have upper lip hair dat is too prominent to ignore. Like maybe it’s very in-your-face, or it’s too eye-catching in the way it doesn’t rlly fit in wif the rest of their face.

Hehe, a lil mischievous, I noe 🤭. And I feel abit bad smirking to myself when I spot a Mustache Cash Stash out in public. But u noe, certain facial hair styles just take a while to get used to. Especially over here where having a ‘stache isn’t exactly the norm…

I myself can’t relate, as someone who’s unable to grow decent facial hair. It always ends up looking like pubes instead 😔… which wld probably get myself labelled a Mustache Cash Stash 😑
